There is usually no need to send the drive: however it is best to verify with your CBL representative before you ship.Our facilities are equipped with not only today's newest drives but also many outdated drives. Once your removable media is received a client service representative will contact you to clarify any important information we may need. It's important for you to have information regarding your computer system and critical target data ready. This will help us recover your critical data faster.

Our engineers will evaluate the media within 4 to 6 hours and create the best solution for your particular situation. You will be sent a laboratory report and quotation detailing the problems and failures found, the time needed to recover the data, and the cost. Once we receive your authorization to proceed, our technicians will recover the critical target data from your media. Data can be transferred onto a new media type of your choice.

Depending on the type of service you requested an average recovery could take as little as 12 to 24 hours.
