How to pack your hard drive
What type of hard drive do you have? If your hard drive is from a desktop PC it is likely you will have a 3.5″ hard drive. A 2.5″ hard drive is generally found in a laptop. See the sample images opposite.

1. Hard Drive packing
Lay the hard drive on a sheet of bubble wrap.
2. Hard Drive packing
Fold the bubble wrap around the drive.
3. Hard Drive packing
Fold the ends of the bubble wrap over the drive.
4. Hard Drive packing
Place the drive in a suitable cardboard container.
5. Hard Drive packing
Roll up pieces of bubble wrap and pack around the drive to reduce vibration.
6. Hard Drive packing
Place your packing note in the box and seal the box.
